Oh I have too many vices to name...lol...but you do quite nicely at easing the guilt for many of them...lol. I mean...you take away my need for another other vice...in short I would love to have you as my only vice...How's that?

"Can there be good without evil?"

To answer your question, no: Good versus Evil

As far as vices go... depends on one's definition of 'vice?'

Meh, I don't have any vices, I have choices. I choose soda over water many days, but sometimes I choose water. If I label anything as a vice or taboo it makes me want to do it more, kind of the forbidden fruit thing. By keeping it as a choice I'm free to make the good or bad choice without thinking I'm missing anything by not choosing bad.

Silly? Sure it is. But my mind is so devious and powerful I've resorted to tricking it.

Gotta go. Choosing masturbation over sex with a partner now.

When I was with a dietitian, she said our body needed EVERY thing of the 5 food groups and by leaving one thing out, you will end up overstepping on something else. 2 fruits a day has all the sugar you need and will stop you from craving the wrong stuff.

Now that said, I am a chocoholic and left alone near a chocolate bar, I am perfectly capable of polishing it in one go! Why do you want to eat fruit if you can have chocolate!?

Something interesting in my life: A surprise on my naked body this morning

You think sex is a vice, too? Or did you mean 'sex in a vise'? Like some sort of weird BDSM thing, lol?

Well sexual immortality is one of the definitions for vice (although it seems to me more linked to the P word that the site monkeys will edit ).

But weakness is another. And I defiantly have a weakness for sex. Especially since I maybe average getting it once every couple years.

Big fat crybaby here. And I cannot stay away from ice cream for very long. Or bread. I love me some bread. With real butter of course

I am the only Me you get.

Cheese. I love me some cheese. With bread. Nice crusty bread that's soft inside.

Shit. Now I'm hungry.

Well, there are vices and then there are vices.

I drink a few Coke Zeroes a day. Yeah, yeah. Not good for me. I know. That's why they call it a fucking vice. But as vices go, it seems pretty mild.

Greasy cheeseburgers. Again. Bad for me. Vice. Got it.

Porn surfing at work (but I'm the boss, so fuck it - in MY employee manual, this is perfectly acceptable).

Am I likely to give any of these up?

Do I look like a fucking angel?

There are lots of words I'd use to describe you. Angel? Not at the top of the list.

G. - Loved piratepair211's teeter-totter (the frank and true wisdom of our grandparents)... I'm getting tired of the ying-yang crap and going back to my (our) roots! Balance and moderation but still enjoying life's pleasures and gifts when they present themselves... If not then why the hell are we here? With each passing day life's a tiny bit shorter (for most). So live and enjoy each day... with a little 'balance and moderation'. Now that 'sex thing'... that is confounding and truly a bitch... WOW... Speechless (shaking head in disbelief) and makes us all sad about the situation (as we all know you are). Focus on you and family... and that 'damn' sugar. Always love reading and hearing your thoughts...

You know, if you have to use something to compensate for sugar, egg salad sandwiches aren't a bad choice! (YUM) Also, no need to apologize, there may be some of us inmates of the holding cell who like having you demean us!
As for vices, I like my beer as much as the next guy, and I really should give up my one cigarette a day. I do give up beer for the 40 days of lent, so no problems there. Now meat on the other hand...
That's my two cents worth, guns are cold.

Take it easy, guns are cold.

gottaring replies on 7/17/2012 9:46 pm:
I'm not Catholic, but I try to give up something for Lent just to see if I can do it. I make it for about a week before I give up and give in. Beer? Not hard for me to pass up. I'd rather drink LaCroix. But if you told me I couldn't have it? I'd be drunk within the hour, lol.

At my age, I given up everything except sex and that will come some day too. Darn!

Cum to my blog and respond. Have a great kissing fun time.

You will never consciously 'give up' sex. Your body may 'give up', but your head is still in the game .

Nope, sorry doll... for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. For every good thing in life there is a bad. The world would stop spinning if there wasnt.

Vices... damn my list is so long it defies description. Smokes would probably top the list. I've stopped several times but stress always bring them back. Soda would be #2. I adore cola...and it doesnt matter what it is. Coke, Pepsi it doesnt matter. I quit drinking it regularly early in the year (Im talking 3-2Liter habit) but this last week have been heavy into it. Back to the water today.

Oh.. and then the 3rd vice... hot showers.
And 4... sex.
And 5.... MacDonalds french fries...

I'm surprised by how many adults are addicted to soda! Personally, I don't care for the stuff unless it's mixed into the occasional cocktail.

McDonalds fries, huh? Spoken like a woman who hasn't tried Arby's fries, lol.

My vices, lets see ... Soda is a huge one. I like my pepsi way too much (coke works to). I can cut down on it from time to time. But I have yet to find a way to fully give it up.

When I have a partner sex might be considered a vice maybe. But obviously I can give that one up when I have to as I routinely go years without.

Oh and there can be orgasms without pillow talk. It's called masturbation. *runs for the door before something gets thrown at my head*

As your spiritual guide, I'm advising you to take mescaline to balance out the loss of sugar.

gottaring replies on 7/13/2012 7:16 am:
You just reminded me of a dingbat waitress I used to work with who told her customers that they had a choice of salad, one of which was made with mescaline.

She meant 'mesclun' greens, but I never corrected her. The snickers from her customers were just too amusing.

The simple answer is no, you cannot have any one adjective (describing word) without a polar opposite to it. If everything were the same height, tall and short would cease to exist. Things would just.... be.
Of course some of those adjectives are subjective, like good and evil. One person's good may not necessarily be another person's idea of the same.
This concludes OneStrangeBeast's Learning Minute for this episode. See you all next week!

My vices? Well, I wasn't born with a sweet tooth--I got 32 of the damn things.

I love a heavy maduro cigar and smoky Cognac or Armagnac; and damned if I don't like the heavy continental cuisine that causes a need for them.

Sometimes I cuss too much--sometimes not enough.

My biggest vice? Lusting in my heart for what I'll never have...and overstepping my bounds and irritating those I care for most.
