I have a question or observation.

I started looking at profiles on an HSV site.

As I read the profiles on here, it seems like most of the women are looking for a long-term relationship or marriage. I have no issue with that. But my question is having an STD does that change the<b> philosophy </font></b>and willingness to mingle and befriend?

I do not know if this analogy applies. I bought my first business grew it very fast into a multi million dollar business and then went broke. My family's reaction was I needed to just get a job. Don't start another business. Having gone through the financial disaster and failure, it seemed like the big push was for security. Thankfully, I did another business venture -- actually two. The second one failed too.

Is it the same for a woman with an STD? Is it the flight to security? The feeling of needing the long term partner or marriage? The feeling of betrayal and the avoidance of any further betrayal? The feeling of having lost trust of either a casual or even very trusted partner?
I am very curious to understand.

I'd like your thoughts, whether you have an STD or not. I am rying to come to grips with what I have.
