The Big Bang.....

No not a gangbang. That's what happened to the car today.
I count myself lucky to be alive and with hair after accidentally welding through a fuel line.

Anyhow I guess God was with me. The rear of the car melted and one of the tyres blew up. By this point I was watching from half a mile away. I expected the fuel tank to blow but the fire crew got to it first.

It's now in the hands of the local scrap dealer.

RIP little FIAT Punto. It was a pleasure to ride you.

 Smithy.....Thanks. I'm happy to be in the land of the living. Glad I had my fire-retardant clothes on.

Opus.....Mercifully I didn't have my head under the car when the fuel ignited. The flames blasted my legs instead.
