Miracles

Man meets woman.

Woman has six .

Man and woman date for awhile.

Man says to woman, "Looks like you are getting a little thick."

Woman says to man crying, "I'm not fat, I'm pregnant!"

Man says, "I know."

Woman says, "how?"

Man says, "I have known about the birds and the bees for a long time. Have you been to the doctor?"

Woman says, "No."

Man says, "You will tomorrow."

Woman says, "The baby is not yours, I was pregnant when we met."

Man says, "I know, I'm sterile, but I have always wanted a ."

Man and woman agree to raise the baby as "theirs", but vow to never tell the baby that she is the result of an affair with a married man. Baby is named after Man whether a boy or a girl.

Baby is born. Man and woman get married.

Baby is me. Man is the most wonderful man in the entire world.

I miss you Dad.

Oh Dusty, this is so beautiful...
And your dad is with you and will continue to be with you as long as you have feelings like that.

Dusty, he sounds like a wonderful man, it is no wonder you miss him, but perhaps a little of him lives on in you.

Oh..wow.
Damn good post Dust. Simple and to the point...and really had a huge impact. All I can say is just WOW.

Your mother was a lucky, lucky lady...(and so were you)....Makes you wonder in this day and age how many men would accept that now.

~~~ Just me, poppin to say HI! ~~
pchamp012004 biologically, he may not have been my dad, but he was my father in every sense of the word. I thought about, at one time, looking for my biological father. I was 35 when I found out the truth and decided that it is best not to disturb an old man. It would tear a family apart, I decided that nothing could change the fact that the man who raised me as his own was truly in my heart my father.
slidein2meplz, yes my mother was a luckly lady. It's too bad she didn't see it until after she left him.
A student of mine is the oldest of nine. His mother just remarried. I am always amazed when someone will take on not only the love of their life, but their family too, especially when there are so many children under the age of 18.
