Polygamy - the natural state of things It has long been my<b> philosophy </font></b>that monogamy is completely unnatural. Most humans want to have sex with multiple partners. And it is very common even with the disdain associated with the concept of being a slut or adulterer. Even saying the word brings guilt. Although, if you happen to care about what the Old Testament says, I happened to hear from a friend of mine that the it specifies all sorts of rules about who can have sex with whom, and that it specifically forbids relations with relatives (direct or indirect relatives) and neighbors (it also puts a no-no on the same sex thing, by the way, not that I think anything is wrong with that). In any case, it never actually says, don't screw around with anyone. It just says don't do it with these specific folks. At best, there is evidence to support both cases: http://Affairlook.com So, maybe all those wives that the kings of ol' had were not so forbidden. My theory is that something happened during the Victorian era to propagate this whole monogamy concept and truly make it a cultural absolute no-no. So many things support the point of polygamy being the natural state of things. Most animals practice it, most humans find monogamy very difficult, and even the shape of the head of the penis is made to send your cum deeper and suction another's out. (My college biology teacher mentioned that last fact in class one day!) If you happen to be in a monogamous relationship and love it and are happy, fantastic! I'm happy for ya. If you're not, though, please don't feel bad or guilty about your natural sexual feelings and tendencies! Kisses, Sammy |

Care about what the Old Testament says? Yeah, there's a document full of valid teachings,,,Abraham willing and able to slit his own son's throat to prove his faith to God. Can you imagine seeing that scene down the street on a Saturday morning in your suburban upper middle class neighborhood? Hey Bob? What are you doing exactly? Oh, just trying to win God's love and respect,, Evolution is the obvious argument for polygamy and carries much more weight than any red sea voodoo transcripts. Animals practice it for the best odds at procreating the healthiest offspring. Animals also practice homosexuality to preserve limited natural resources. If the population goes up 5-10% above their means, the number of practicing homosexual Animals in the herd/flock goes up by the same percentage.

Good points. I just know that quite a few people do take the Old Testament as gospel as it were.  BTW, the link that was replaced with the Affairlook url was to the polygamy entry on wikipedia.
