Yeah I know, I suck I keep getting people telling me I'm full of BS, I suck, I'm not focused on the right things. Actually it's only about 3 of you who keep telling me this, but you're there on every post I make. So, let's just reset a bit. I'm here to listen and push your feedback up the chain. That includes all the features and bugs on the site. I care about Kudos. I care about why they were originally built, if they have been successful achieving their purpose, and whether they need to be taken out back and shot. I'm sure you understand that if I ask about your thoughts on Kudos it doesn't mean the issues with Cams get dropped. Here's a little insight on how the team works: There is a team of 3 people who do this on about 35 sites. It's me community, AFFeditor and Mollena. Mollena works on ALT and Bondage . com so you won't see her around here. Our biggest communities are Affairlook, ALT.com OutPersonals, Amigos and SeniorFriendFinder. All these sites are built on a similar platform so we see a lot of similar issues. Our core focus is Affairlook. We then take these things into our execs office and fight the good fight. Sometimes we can get a fix in a day, but sometimes it's baby steps (cams). I wish I could turn things around faster, I really do. Then I drive my shitty Accord home, put on a wig and a pretty dress, watch looping videos of dancing unicorns and pass out on top of empty pizza boxes at around 3 AM. Ryan, I personally don't think you suck. I have been aware as I have helped tech support and such before that you have a limited amount of people trying to tackle a universe of troubles. Hang in there..and definitely you get a HUG from me. And if you need any additional help, I am here at your disposal dear. xoxoxox

Ryan..lol you don't sound like a whiny douchebag looking for attention...roflmao. I am happy to help and in fact I told you before. It is the ONLY reason I am still here.  I enjoy helping newbies, helping the site when I can, and have totally enjoyed talking with and helping you too. Sometimes we go full head of steam new and fresh into something and don't realize that St. George's dragon WAS bigger than it seemed when he left the castle. A few of us do know how this works inside and out i.e. the tech part. We just are not employees to help out. Bigger huggles to you now.

Here is something for a few of you to read as several of you know of my background on this site when it came to site improvements. It is a Testimonial I left for Ryan profile as Community. You sure did not see me leave one on the SiteSupport profile and you sure as hell did not see me leave one on Andrew Conru profile of Luvpump. Why...it is plane to see as to what I wrote in regards to Ryan. Copy of Testimonial. Apr 22, 2009 I use to be extremely highly active a couple years ago with the site improvements on this site with the former CEO and PM's. Because of my disgusts of certain things and changes done by the former CEO and the lack of professionalism of much of the CS staff I ceased to being so actively involved in contributing to the site improvements for almost 2 years. That was until I started to watch Ryan (Community) Blog and see that he does listen to the members and shows professionalism at the same time. He truly does his best and shows a dedication to what he does for the members and this site. That is a rarity now a day to be seen in most employees in my honest opinion. At the same time Ryan also shows a little of his own personality to the community of members here too. If you can see video Introductions of members...check his out lol... Anyhow, the point I am making is that Ryan (Community) has brought "TCO" (me) back out to be actively involved in giving opinion,ideas, and suggestions (along with reporting a few bugs in the system found) again for the improvements to the site and its "community". He is even the main reason of the re-opening of a group I created called Affairlook Members Focus Group. Sadly, you are going to get those types of messages from here on out. I wish I could say otherwise, but that's the reality of it. You stepped into some really dysfunctional shoes when you took on this job and there are a lot of folks behind you and willing to help, myself included. We know you have a tough road to walk and we appreciate the personal touch  {can I shamelessly flirt with you here?} that you provide to the members. The mere fact that you do interact in a more personal way has more and more people coming to you to "fix this and that" when many feel their voices go unheard by the Site Support blog. Not to discredit their hard work, but that blog can be frustrating in many ways. You've welcomed the members with open arms and a sincere ear to the problems. I'll go you one step further and mention that I made comment to others about highlighting those staff members that really show they care about this site and the members. You would be among them. You are doing a great job Ryan. Don't ever forget that. Those of us with some common sense know things aren't going to be fixed overnight. Try not to let those few who say such things get to you too much. Btw, venting is not the same as whining and I've heard no whining from you yet. If you decide you want to table code an index of sorts, I or others, if you prefer, would be happy to code it for you. It's not been updated lately, but here's one example for you [post 1304928]. Now, as for that group hug. I'll give you a big hug,{or more } but let's let the others do the group thing. I'm more of a one on one kinda gal.

Group hug? Absolutely not. I found out that my second from most recent blog post was banned for a SUPPOSEDLY "banned topic". The post was innocuous; I simply related an IM conversation. And typical to Affairlook, I was not of course, told why, so I am left to wonder what the so-called problem. This is pretty much in line with "service" which that I received from Affairlook "Tech Support", a few months ago. I have relatively few complaints about this site; it has served my needs and desires sufficiently. But I have very little patience for this kind of mediocrity from either Affairlook or the Tech Support department. "For Knowledge Itself, is Power." --Francis Bacon

I don't see you suck and trying to get attention. To me you are doing a very good jobs and thank for having this blog to listening to us. It is not a very easy task you and your other helper are doing to manage so many stuff to do. Keep it up and eventually things would be done.

What a load of bollox...Ryan you have listned to everything i have asked and taken the appropriate action required to resolve the issue, If these members that were slandering you. Realised what you have done on here and the diffrences you have made to the site so far,They wouldn't be saying these things, FFs your seat is hardly warm and you have done more on here than most of the other departments put together! These members that are saying these things, should sit in your seat for a day and see what you need to do, I know for a fact i have emailed you and been given v.i.p. treatment on every occasion.    Thankyou for all the assistance you have given to us and im sure 99% of the other members will agree.. ryan rocks!!!

Ryan, you have my sympathy. Part of my job is to follow my boss around and tell mid-level bosses that they spend too much money, and as one of them told me at a party: ”It’s so easy to give you the blame for the fact that we don’t have enough money.” Most of the commenters on this blog really care for the site and want it to function properly. We are frustrated that it does not. When you post here, it’s the equivalent of hosting a town meeting; when you ask "The mayor thinks we should put some flowers in the roundabouts. How do like that?" we are entitled to point out that we have more pressing concerns, like power outages, garbage bins never emptied and being harassed in the streets. It's good that the bosses want to make strategic plans for the future and going through the site from A to Z; but not while parts of the site are downright malfunctioning. <- Profile photo courtesy of Bonding with coworkers

I have said it before Ryan and I will say it again you ROCK actually what I said was that you were doing a great job hehehee and I love your sense of humour. Now tell me how do I get a job with Affairlook cause apart from the wingers I would love to get paid for surfing the site. Keep up the good work and just be yourself. I am sure your bosses appreciate the good work that you are doing to rebuild customer relations.

Awww, Ryan -- you most definitely don't suck. Probably whatever you chose to talk about, there will be someone who thinks you should be concentrating on something else. One thing doesn't cancel out the other. I, for one, and I know many others agree, that you are juggling many things, not just one at a time. You also seem to be a victim of the "person who answers the phone scenario" -- people will complain and blame whomever answers the phone even though that person has nothing whatsoever to do what whatever problem the caller is having. You're someone they can complain to and even blame because of your visibility here. I SINCERELY appreciated your help with the missing blings issue! I don't know if that would have been fixed without you. I've wondered -- what do you tell your friends/family about where you work and what you do?

I'll avoid the platitudes and get to the point (isn't your job to listen? or maybe I'm confused. Either way I am genuinely neutral. I have no issue with you at all, nor any particular praise. Some issues are handled, some are not. It is what it is). 1) Biggest complaint continues to be the overwhelming number of obviously fake profiles. I would care but when they litter your testimonials, inbox, and "newest member" lineup on my home page it is quite a pain. How long will it be before you just blanket do not accept ANY profiles from Ghana? Come on!!! AND, profile named poofiesnuggles, woofiepuddles, snoofiehuggles, etc etc. I will log in and my home page will have all 5 of the "newest members" with these ridiculous names. If I can check an IP you guys can as well. 2) SUGGESTIONS: We should be able to delete profiles from hotlisting us. I have several ladies that have hotlisted me that frankly, I am disgusted by their pics (I never signed up to be a gynecologist using an internal probe camera!!) and I'd like to NOT have to look at those pics every time I go to the "whose hotlisted me" or "whose viewed my profile" pages. Next, and maybe more important for those of us looking for REAL meetups. 2 additional things. I see several profiles, that have "ID Verify" that I know have stolen pictures of pornstars. ID Verify should require pics. Finally, we should be able to view not only the testimonials written FOR someone, but the testimonials that someone has written FOR others. This would aid in uncovering fakes and give greater insight into that person. Thanks, and keep up the hard work.

Ryan, It's pretty clear that you are not the one who sucks but rather those farther up the food chain. You are clearly under staffed. If the site would give you more help you could really do a lot to improve service thus enticing more people to actually pay for said service. Members would be happier and the business would be more profitable. I realize that you have no control over this. I'm just saying.

Whoa, yes the index is the answer. I was trying to think about how to make stickies on topics without flooding the top of my blog with stickies. Perfect. I'm going to steal it, then ask you when I can figure it out. Oh, and I'm not sure I'm allowed to mix business with pleasure  . I'll have to consult the company handbook I didn't bother reading.I never said you had to do it on company time. Besides, I'm sure if you found your copy of the book, probably propping up an uneven table or desk somewhere, I could easily debate how it's worded.  However, we seriously need to talk about this dress and wig thing. If you look better in a dress than me...   *waiting for your next profile video
