HUMPTY DUMPTY SAT ON A WALL...

HUMPTY DUMPTY SAT ON A WALL

Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall, Humpty Dumpty had a great fall, all the Kings horses and all the Kings men couldn't put Humpty Dumpty together again...

Is this a profound lesson in the philosophy of life bundled in a nursery rhyme?

Have you ever in your lifetime been able to put relationships that have been pushed off the wall of understanding back together again?

Do you know of couples who broke up and then after some time went by, got back together once more and things worked out for them?

I've read of, and have seen couples on the bloob tube that got divorced once and then remarried again after a few years went by. I've ofter wondered it the "second time around" fared any better than the first go round.

I know that in my case, once I'm done with a relationship, either a love affair or just a friendship, I'm done....

It's the same way with most movies I've seen. Once I've seen them, I don't like going back and watching them again. THERE are rare exceptions with movies. UNFORGIVEN starring and produced by Clint Eastwood is a movie I've watched three times.

KILL BILL, volumes 1 and 2, is another flick I keep watching every year or so. All of Quentin Tarintino's flicks are outstanding.

Uma Thurman, the star of KILL BILL, 1 and 2., during the period in her life when KILL BILL was filmed, was one of the most beautiful and talanted women I've ever watched on the screen.

Now, age has pushed Ulma Thurman off the wall, and like the rest of us mortals, she can't be put back together again...

Sure, old age, and tumbles off various walls, have cracked my shell too, but probably like some of you who've taken the time to read this post, I'm happy with the job done with super glue in putting me together. If our heads keep working properly, it's sometimes enough in life just to get up in the morning and smell the coffee.

P. S. The picture above is of Ulma Thruman taken at the end of KILL BILL, volume1, bloodied, but alive and victorius after a sword fight with Lucy Liu...

I'm glad you saw it and liked it sweet VM. It's silly of me to write about movies on this site, because I would know, if I took the time to think about it, that most people wouldn't have seen the same films as I have.. and I probably haven't seen the films they like... This post is an example how I write this stuff off the top of my head, lol. love, sweetness, xoxo david

I bet if you were to see those movies you'd probably end up liking them. They are scary in a way, but mostly there's an undercurrent of humor that takes you away from the horror and gets you interested in the storyline.

Ohhh, I'm sorry C. I can't help you there. I don't think I saw MONSTER.
We're still in the dark ages here and still watch films on DVD's..

It's strange, or perhaps more accurate to say you can see the difference in Ulma (the ageing of her), when watching KILL BILL volume 1, and then right after that film, Volume 2. It must be very tough on very beautiful people in flicks, to see themselves age on the big screen. xoxo david...
