Martin did it because, when he came up, Hollywood was still pretty segregated when it comes to roles. A name like Estevez wouldn't get anything but latino criminal roles or something like that. Charlie went with Sheen for name recognition, I'm certain. Emilio went with Estevez to avoid name recognition.

'Pitch Black" was the first one, but it wouldn't seem like it. I don't know if that was a vehicle for Diesel or just meant to be a scary sort of movie. I'm kind of marinating on the question about which is best. "Pitch Black" and "Riddick" are so much different than "The Chronicles of Riddick".

I had Mike and Ikes at the movie. I wanted some good 'ole jelly beans, but couldn't find any.
