BIG WEENIE!

BIG WEENIE! Ok! I'll admit it....I'm a big weenie! But didn't you know that nurses make the worst patients ever??????? Tomorrow, I have to have a procedure done. And they have to sedate me to do it....and you all know how much I HATE sedation. I just don't do it well. But, I'm an obedient girl....and the oncologist says its time to do this. I am just completely dreading it. But, my good friend, unlistedone [blog unlistedone], reminded me that we're not getting older, we're getting better. He has a great blog post today....hop over there and read it! So, today I can't eat.....I have to drink lots of clear liquids though. And don't you know....most days, I'm not a breakfast eater. But just tell someone they can't eat....and guess what? They want to eat! And then I have to drink this horrible stuff.....that's going to completely clean me out! Have you guessed it? I'm having a colonoscopy! Pray for me tomorrow at 11am, will ya? I'm terrified of sedation....even though the last one went well. And to add insult to injury....when I went to my pre-procedure appointment.....THREE of my former students work at this office! So......just let me stick my ass in the air.....and hide my head! lol  |

My prayers are with you, as always. I get my colon checked once a year as part of my routine physical. First time i had a cystoscopy to do a kidney-stone extraction was awkward. "Lay on your back and put your ankles in the stirrups" Uh, i know you ladies do this when you get your 'coochie' examed, so i guess it was natural for the nurse to joke that it was humbling for me to see what you ladies have to cope with. Hope all turns out well! HUG=GASMS!

had one last month. thank god for sedation. just make sure you have someone there with you to take you home. and bring you FOOD. will send energy your way....... we You cannot conceive the many without the one.

Good luck with the "procedure". My doctor wants me to have it in a few months, once I hit the "big five-oh". On a lighter note: I hope you're on good terms with these former students. One hates to think of what perfectly innocent things they could come up with while you're in such a "delicate" position. SpaceCadetù

OH, I'm sorry my twisted just kicked in. You are so brave! bare butt, defenceless and PAST students? roflmfao. I'm so thankfull i'm not you , but i will trade places with you and you can come here under the care of students that never heard of you. You'll be fine really. Hugs putting you in my smoke .

Angel, I trust every thing came out OK (no pun intended) Enjoy the sedation it keeps your dignity in tact. I for one would be most obliging to pat you ass until you go to sleep. Then I would give it a kiss and wish you well! May the blessing of the universe dwell within you earthly body. I love old wine and old scotch and I have a deep fondness for older nurses. Angel..I'll be thinking of you..like others, I survived mine..a 50th birthday present, of sorts..so I'm somewhat removed from the event. It really wasn't as bad as advertised..just uncomfortable.. Although..that is in comparison to several prostate biopsies..now those are a joy.. At least you will be among friends.

I hope it all came out okay! I have had two which were a cake walk. Found out some things... still wondering about other things they didn't have an answer to. I have a nice ulcer that I treat quite well since I found out. It is one of the best things you can do for yourself. L'Oracle de L'Amour Hi again
