Stalking

>> Friday night a paricular lady and I had a date planned. She and I have known each other for about a year and always seem to enjoy the company of one another. It has, however, always been in the context of "friends with mutual friends" and not alone. There was always a lot of "flirting" happening between us, though, and several illusions to dating and possibly even more.
>> In the course of one of these get togethers, she suggested we should go to a movie or dinner one night. We arranged for that to be on Friday. We saw each other twice more in the interim and continued to talk about it. What we would see. Where would we eat. Stuff like that. All seemed set for a fun evening out with no particular expectations on either side.
>> Come the day and no conversation. She would not answer the phone. She would not return texts. Eventually she just turned off her phone. I saw her last night and it was as if nothing had happened.
>> I don't know what her real story is, but I would like to persue this lady. It's my perception that she's worth some effort. My question for you is..... When does "pursuit" and "flirting" and all that goes with it become STALKING? How far should I push the issue? Should I just let it drop and stop the pursuit?
>> As a side note: I do like the tag on "somebody's" blog that states "Don't waste your time on someone who doesn't want to waste time with you". I'm considering that philosophy.
