Have You Ever Had One Of Those Days... Where you had a headache all day long and just couldn't shake it but had too much work to call it a day and<b> head </font></b>home? My headache finally broke about 4:30 p.m. Needless to say, I'm exhausted from trying to work on the computer today and not being able to really see straight, especially through the pain... Lots of drama from my cube-mate, I would hate to be her family this weekend...seems the "precious, do no-wrong" lost his gear bag after getting back to the school from an out-of-town wrestling match this afternoon...everything he needs for the tournaments tomorrow and Sunday are in that bag, along with his cell phone, iPod...let's just say, my cube-mate was on the phone trying to get the for everyone on the wrestling team to track down that gear bag tonight!!! This on top of fighting the pain from her gallbladder, which she will be seeing the surgeon on Wednesday to determine when to do the surgery...coupled with my headache, this was a VERY trying afternoon. Then there was the Support Staff Christmas luncheon. My cube-mate got a sucky gift in the exchange, second year in a row. I got a cut little silverware reindeer and little red glass bowl with little candy canes in it. Very cute...I also got another Christmas Limoges as a door prize to add to my collection of Christmas Limoges!! I don't know why I love those pretty little porcelain boxes, but I do. I've got one from all the five, now six Christmases I've been at this firm!! I've learned to keep my mouth shut, keep a low profile when all Hell breaks loose like it did this afternoon... I also printed off the list of what I can claim on my medical flex account...I have a sizable amount left in my flex account and have to come up with receipts to send in to try and recoop some of that money...I really don't want to loose it...and after studying the two lists that apply, I may get all that is left in my flex account. I've got to prepare that list with receipts this weekend and get it sent in to my health insurance carrier. I was pretty thrilled that there are some expenses that I'll be able to recoup...sometimes it does pay to read the fine print!!! I had a little bit of road rage on the way home from work...some jack-ass in one of those little Jeep Liberty vehicles decided he was going to get around me in traffic, even so far as to going around me on the left in the oncoming traffic lane to get in the left turn lane ahead of me...WTF????? Why are folks so damned rude on the road, where are you going to go when the damned traffic light is red???? I backed off though I wanted to flash my brights at him and shoot him the middle finger...I let it go, but I sure was ready to bump his bumper!!! Now, I'm fixing to grab a bite of dinner, get into some comfy, warm clothes and watch some TV...I've got a stash of new movies I can watch, but I doubt seriously I'll be able to stay awake through even one of them...best to stick to my Friday night TV shows before crashing... Yes, it's been one of those kind of days. Nothing like trying to get over a headache and being exposed to someone else's major drama!!!! Time for dinner!!! Have a great weekend!!!
