It's Official

Yes, it's official. I officially hate my job. Not "don't like", not "can't stand", but officially fucking hate it. A trained monkey could do this job. But I guess it does pay the bills. Not that I can complain about the money. But it's so fucking boring.

The bossman is looking to expand into areas where I have extensive expertise, so I guess things aren't as bad as they could be. Could be worse. I could be one of the shlumps whom I work with thinking that what we're doing is rocket surgery...

I'm just not cut out to hump cable all the live-long day and be happy about it. I'm a system engineer - integrated systems a specialty. Throw a burg system at me with fire, card access and CCTV to boot and I'm happier than a shit throwing monkey. Humping cable for voice and data to 5,322 locations kinda sucks. But it is kinda cool working at Miller Brewing - you can actually smoke indoors there.

Oh well - life goes on I suppose. I'll get up and do the same damn thing tomorrow... and again... and again...
