My hopes torn asunder
The 3rd cometh.

Placed another CV in today and the woman I handed it to asked me to wait and made a call, I got a interview on the spot. Turns out they need someone straight away and I can start on Monday. Just have to read through the AWA (ggrrr) third one now.
Oh you are pissing me off johnny I remember a time when everyone was on the same deal, you got penalty rates for weekend hours, teabreaks, an hour for your lunch etc etc etc.

Now you have to read through pages of diferent bloody agreements looking for where they are sticking it to you. I THOUGHT THIS WAS MEANT TO MAKE IT EASIER LITTLE JOHNNY!!!!

Oh for anyone reading a AWA for a job atm, watch out for a clause in the salary/wage area that includes your Super in your salary/wage and not paid seperatly over and above it.

Anyway, this current one. Haven't finished reading it, but looks ok... so far.
Only issues are my currently planned holidays I was hoping to travel before Xmas. This won't even be a slightly remote possiblity of happening.....if I accept, got three days to decide. And the other is I'll be moving away from my current field of work.

My bosses are happier now that I can start another job (haven't mentioned the holiday issues). They hated having to do this, was even told that I've been good to them. Makes you feel appreciated when your efforts get acknowledged. They are even going to look over the AWA as well incase I missed anything. Like I said, they are good to me.

Well, heres to hoping for lotto.
