Pay Up.....
Well, it's coming down to the wire. "Obama-Care" is in the final stages of possibly becoming a reality very soon, and if so, as in my opinion and the opinion of the other 54% of Americans have..... We're screwed!
Now I am one of the many Americans that does not have health care insurance. And it's funny that I don't when I work in health care myself. It's not that my company does not provide me with the means to have health care, it's that I choose to not get it. It is my "Freedom Of Choice" as an American citizen not to do something, Right?
My company is a small one, and it's not financially sound for them to pay out $10,000 a month for 12 employees. So instead they give us an allowance to each month to purchase health care upon our own. They search and see what the largest amount for private health care insurance of the different bracket of insurance policies is for our needs, and then gives us that amount to get it on our own. Then gives us the choice of which plan we want to take, the most expensive or the lesser expensive and then pocket the rest of the allowance.
And there again, I still choose not to purchase the health care insurance. And why you might ask. Because I have life that comes at me, I have too much debt to have to deal with so I choose to use that money for myself and not health insurance that I will still have to pay for all the care myself because I haven't been to a doctor in 7 years for any illness, and if I do use it once or 3 times, I will have not met the deductible and will be out of pocket anyways. So if push comes to shove, I'm still in the same boat either way.
And with "Obama-Care" did you know that if you do not purchase health care insurance, the America government will charge you a fine. The fine is based off your income. Which means of you don't willing participate in "Obama-Care" you will have to forfeit up to 10% of your income. Now this is not right.
Aren't you glad YOU voted for Obama now? ;!;
So now if the plan is passed, I will have up to $300 taken from my paychecks if I choose not to get health insurance because Uncle Obama and Auntie Pelosi says it's incentive for me to purchase their health care that says I can ONLY see this doctor and not that doctor. That says a portion of my money that I pay for it must go to paying for abortions. Portions that I pay will go to paying health care for married couples making less then $18,700 and those whom are not legle citizens.
And with this "Slaughter Rule" that was made by Congresswoman Slaughter, allows for the Senate bill to be "deemed" to have passed the House so it can go to the President's desk to be signed into law. So all they really need "if" the No's have it, is enough to have said yes before the vote was placed to actually let it go to  Obama Now I might act dumb at times, but I'm not fucking stupid, and I don't think you are either.
So if it comes to that, then I can tell all my deters that YES, I did pay you everything, you did get all your money, and then they can just sit back and say..... duhhhh, okay, your debt to us is gone. ..... I don't think so.
So here it comes, down to the wire. I hope you're all ready to pay up for this "Change" so many apparently wanted in our government.

And what's even worse, even if insurance covers the costs of the test, you can't do them all in the same day, they all have to be done on different days, which is the complaint of these so called "People" that Obama talks about. And it's why we have a freedom of choice of which insurance plan you want. If you want cheap, you get cheap. If you have health care needs, then don't go cheap.
There will always be things that health care will not cover, and then the patient will be responsible, and then the offices and hospital that treat will be getting calls wanting to know why they have to pay because their great insurance that Uncle Obama promised would cover everything.
Soon there will be no more hospitals and doctors offices. there will be only government run care facilities. Only 1 per Big city, Lines around the corner, and only open from 10 to 5, and if you don't get in, you'll go back the next day |

I wanted the single payer system and eliminate health insurance companies. This isn't my choice but maybe a start.

| But a start to what? If you wanted to eliminate health insurance companies, then how do you feel about the fact that you MUST have health insurance by a company THEY say you MUST have. And if you don't, then YOU will be penalized? Does that really sound like a start to you? Or a socialist take over? |

| true, the cost of the care here is outstanding, but I I need care, I can go to the emergancy room and get care treatment if I need to. Yes it will cost me more, but I'll get treated without health care insurance |

I could walk out side and have gotten hit by a bus last week, been rushed to he hospital, and you want to know what would have happen? ..... All my injuries would have been treated by the best medical staff that the hospital has to offer. .... Even WITHOUT insurance!!!!! Yes I'd have to pay out the ass for it. But here's a real secret you obviously didn't know. Hospitals wright off all outstanding bills after a minimum of 1 year.
Now that I have no freedom to choose whether or not I want to have insurance, what's next? You want to be told you have 30 days to go buy a new car? And if you don't go buy a new car that you can't afford, you'll have to pay a $1,000 tax each month you don't buy a car?
I bet that sounds fair to you doesn't it? It's the same principle..... I bet you thought Bush was the worst prisedent in the world didn't you? Did he ever in his 8 years violate your rights to free choice? Did he ever tell you that you had to buy something you really couldn't afford? Did he force you to have a JerryCurl? .... If you said yes to any of that I'm calling you out as a bold face liar!!!!!
Here's hopping that when you get hit by the bus that you're not waiting in line at the government care centers that will take over the hospitals, and then leave you sitting and waiting only to find out that you'll have to come back tomorrow because they are closing befor they got to you. |
