The Best ever...

My friend and excellent blogger Gottaring wrote a post about the best memory of her life...or rather he search for that. Seems she craves that lifetime experience that she can look back on years later and say..."Wow, he was just so amazing..." I think its more a function of age than anything. Memory is quite subjective. It takes a long while to amass a memory of events and each new memory is added and ranked up there with the previous ones. What she is looking for is the Once in a Lifetime experience, that will be the memory above all others. I know what she means but because she is young she hasn't reconciled all of her memories yet I'm thinking...

Myself I have had several stand out memories in my approaching 60 years. But I also have noticed previous high points slipping into second or further place when something new eclipses them. I think that's quite natural. She was talking about sexual experiences, but I think its true of other life events...like when my first was born...that was fricking amazing...I figured nothing would ever eclipse that...until my second was born...I think there are likely categories of amazingness and each carries its own weight. So life then becomes a collection of these memories and its these memories that make up who we are and what we become...

Philosophy for the day I guess...what do you think?

Here's today's hunk...lol...hope you enjoy...
