...Y Finalmente, Gracias Part I When there were two pages of ideas to consider, and not one that could safely be posted, the message was clear: it was time to leave. And this blog reached that point several months ago. Some know your humble author has been hanging around until certain safer items could be posted and benchmarks met. But my time is long past due for leaving. (For some of the details, folks should check out Migration, On Probation, Adieu, or other entries on this blog’s mainpage.) How can someone truly express himself if he is always looking over his shoulder, worried that someone will report him and shut him down. Much of the material I want to write has proven to be too controversial for this spot. I leave after 13 months of blogging by giving special thanks to various folks on the site who were supportive and became my friends. They are laced into the seams of this blog just as much as I am. I said my farewells to my friends who had already departed in Gone But Not Forgotten. Now, it is time for the rest. These are the folks who have supported this blog from the start. Part II Well, actually, some of these good folks found my blog during the late summer, just as it entered its semi-popular phase, which ended sometime in the fall. Rock ... I don't understand? I know we went thru that period with PK, but I thought things had simmered down. I need to go back and read your other posts. Do you have the email address for the Director of Customer Service? He's a good man, and if you are having problems which he can address, I'm sure he would be more than happy to get involved! All the best in whatever choice you make!

I know I am not a "long-term friend" ... in fact, I am sure you don't think of me as a "friend" at all based on my one posting on your blog... but truth be told, I like your blog a lot, it's one of my favorites (when it's not full of naked breasts, of course *grin* ... but I can totally relate to all of your complaints, I have MANY myself about this site and about people who blog and pretend they are much "more" or "deeper" they they truly are. I hope you can steer me to your new blog home... email me through here? btw... if I lived nearer to you, I likely would have been nicer on your blog, ooops... easy to be painfully honest when there is the comfort of distance hmmmmm?  sometimes, I manage to embarass myself... more than sometimes.Apparently the depth of depravity here is bottomless... don't you feel right at home? ~~~~~

Rocky, I am truly sorry to see you go. There are only a few people on this site that are truly articulate and intelligent. You demonstrated that in every entry in your blog. Affairlook will be poorer without you. They should give you a free lifetime membership just to keep you here. Via con Dios Rocky.

Thanks to all of my friends and readers who commented here. Many of these comments are quite moving to me. As a bit of a postscript and further thanks, please check out a new entry: The Hard Way to 2,000. Longtime visitors to this blog will find it appropriate that this blog continues to skew the temporal matrix and mock the normal order of the universe.
