In election 2008, don’t forget Angry White Man

There is a great amount of interest in this year’s presidential elections, as everybody seems to recognize that our next president has to be a lot better than George Bush. The Democrats are riding high with two groundbreaking candidates – a woman and an African-American – while the conservative Republicans are in a quandary about their party’s nod to a quasi-liberal maverick, John McCain.
Each candidate is carefully pandering to a smorgasbord of special-interest groups, ranging from gay, lesbian and transgender people to of illegal immigrants to working mothers to evangelical Christians.
There is one group no one has recognized, and it is the group that will decide the election: the Angry White Man. The Angry White Man comes from all economic backgrounds, from dirt-poor to filthy rich. He represents all geographic areas in America, from urban sophisticate to rural redneck, deep South to mountain West, left Coast to Eastern Seaboard.
His common traits are that he isn’t looking for anything from anyone – just the promise to be able to make his own way on a level playing field. In many cases, he is an independent businessman and employs several people. He pays more than his share of taxes and works hard.
The victimhood syndrome buzzwords – “disenfranchised,” “marginalized” and “voiceless” – don’t resonate with him. “Press ‘one’ for English” is a curse-word to him. He’s used to picking up the tab, whether it’s the company Christmas party, three sets of braces, three college educations or a beautiful wedding.
He believes the Constitution is to be interpreted literally, not as a “living document” open to the whims and vagaries of a panel of judges who have never worked an honest day in their lives.
The Angry White Man owns firearms, and he’s willing to pick up a gun to defend his home and his country. He is willing to lay down his life to defend the freedom and safety of others, and the thought of killing someone who needs killing really doesn’t bother him.
The Angry White Man is not a metrosexual, a homosexual or a victim. Nobody like him drowned in Hurricane Katrina – he got his people together and got the hell out, then went back in to rescue those too helpless and stupid to help themselves, often as a police officer, a National Guard soldier or a volunteer firefighter.
His last name and religion don’t matter. His background might be Italian, English, Polish, German, Slavic, Irish, or Russian, and he might have Cherokee, Mexican, or Puerto Rican mixed in, but he considers himself a white American.
He’s a man’s man, the kind of guy who likes to play poker, watch football, hunt white-tailed deer, call turkeys, play golf, spend a few bucks at a strip club once in a blue moon, change his own oil and build things. He coaches baseball, soccer and football teams and doesn’t ask for a penny. He’s the kind of guy who can put an addition on his house with a couple of friends, drill an oil well, weld a new bumper for his truck, design a factory and publish books. He can fill a train with 100,000 tons of coal and get it to the power plant on time so that you keep the lights on and never know what it took to flip that light switch.
Women either love him or hate him, but they know he’s a man, not a dishrag. If they’re looking for someone to walk all over, they’ve got the wrong guy. He stands up straight, opens doors for women and says “Yes, sir” and “No, ma’am.”
He might be a Republican and he might be a Democrat; he might be a Libertarian or a Green. He knows that his wife is more emotional than rational, and he guides the family in a rational manner.
He’s not a racist, but he is annoyed and disappointed when people of certain backgrounds exhibit behavior that typifies the worst stereotypes of their race. He’s willing to give everybody a fair chance if they work hard, play by the rules and learn English.
Most important, the Angry White Man is pissed off. When his job site becomes flooded with illegal workers who don’t pay taxes and his wages drop like a stone, he gets righteously angry. When his job gets shipped overseas, and he has to speak to some incomprehensible idiot in India for tech support, he simmers. When Al Sharpton comes on TV, leading some rally for reparations for slavery or some such nonsense, he bites his tongue and he remembers. When a gets charged with carrying a concealed weapon for mistakenly bringing a penknife to school, he takes note of who the local idiots are in education and law enforcement.
He also votes, and the Angry White Man loathes Hillary Clinton. Her voice reminds him of a shovel scraping a rock. He recoils at the mere sight of her on television. Her very image disgusts him, and he cannot fathom why anyone would want her as their leader. It’s not that she is a woman. It’s that she is who she is. It’s the liberal victim groups she panders to, the “poor me” attitude that she represents, her inability to give a straight answer to an honest question, his tax dollars that she wants to give to people who refuse to do anything for themselves.
There are many millions of Angry White Men. Four million Angry White Men are members of the National Rifle Association, and all of them will vote against Hillary Clinton, just as the great majority of them voted for George Bush.
He hopes that she will be the Democratic nominee for president in 2008, and he will make sure that she gets beaten like a drum.

I was just informed that one of my friends, and summertime co-workers was found dead in his apartment last friday. He had hung himself. He was tall, well built, intelligent, educated, mellow, hunted, fished, chased the lady's almost as much as I do. He was always positive, and just a good person to be around. I am having a hard time wrapping my head around this.
I am going to miss you Matt.

A LITTLE GUN HISTORY
I Thought you all might appreciate this . . .
In 1929, the Soviet Union established gun control. From 1929 to 1953,
about 20 million dissidents, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up
and exterminated.

Armenians, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.

rounded up and exterminated.

China established gun control in 1935. From 1948 to 1952,

It has now been 12 months since gun owners in Australia were forced
by new law to surrender 640,381 personal firearms to be destroyed by their
own government, a program costing Australia taxpayers more than $500
million dollars. The first year results are now in:
List of 7 items:
Australia-wide, homicides are up 3.2 percent
Australia-wide, assaults are up 8.6 percent
Australia-wide, armed robberies are up 44 percent (yes, 44
percent)!
In the state of Victoria alone, homicides with firearms are now up 300
percent. Note that while the law-abiding citizens turned them in, the
criminals did not, and criminals still possess their guns!
While figures over the previous 25 years showed a steady decrease in
armed robbery with firearms, this has changed drastically upward in the
past 12 months, since criminals now are guaranteed that their prey is
unarmed.
There has also been a dramatic increase in break-ins and assaults of the
ELDERLY. Australian politicians are at a loss to explain how public safety
has decreased, after such monumental effort and expense was expended in
successfully ridding Australian society of guns. The Australian experience
and the other historical facts above prove it.
You won't see this data on the US evening news, or hear politicians
disseminating this information.
Guns in the hands of honest citizens save lives and property and, yes,
gun-control laws adversely affect only the law-abiding citizens.
Take note my fellow Americans, before it's too late!
The next time someone talks in favor of gun control, please remind them
of this history lesson.
With guns, we are 'citizens'.
Without them, we are 'subjects'.
During WWII the Japanese decided not to invade America because they
knew most Americans were ARMED!
If you value your freedom, Please spread this anti-gun control
message to all of your friends.
And remember: Clinton is the biggest advocate of strict gun control.

November 5, 2006
Two illegal aliens, Ralphel Resindez, 23, and Enrico Garza, 26,
probably believed they would easily overpower home-alone 11 year old
Patricia Harrington after her father had left their two-story home.
It seems the two crooks never learned two things: they were in Montana
and Patricia had been a clay shooting champion since she was nine.
Patricia was in her upstairs room when the two men broke through the
front door of the house. She quickly ran to her father's room and
grabbed his 12 gauge Mossberg 500 shotgun.
Resindez was the first to get up to the second floor only to be the
first to catch a near point blank blast of buckshot from the
11-year-old's knee crouch aim. He suffered fatal wounds to his abdomen
and genitals.
When Garza ran to the foot of the stairs, he took a blast to the left
shoulder and staggered out into the street where he bled to death
before medical help could arrive.
It was found out later that Resindez was armed with a stolen 45
calibre handgun he took from another home invasion robbery. That
victim, 50-year-old David Burien, was not so lucky. He died from stab
wounds to the chest.
Ever wonder why good stuff never makes NBC, CBS, PBS, MSNBC, CNN, or
ABC news.... ; Now that is Gun Control

There was a cruise ship that ended up sinking just off the coast of a small deserted island.There where only 3 survivors: 2 guys & a girl. They lived there for a couple of years doing what was natural for men & women.
After several years of casual sex all the time, the girl felt really bad about what she had been doing. She felt having sex with both guys was so bad that she killed herself.
It was very tragic but the two guys managed to get through it & after a while nature once more took it's inevitable course.
Well, a couple more years went by & the guys began to feel absolutely horrible about what they were doing. So...

On Penn Ave in front of the Whitehouse there is a Marine standing post and across the street is an old man on a bench. The old man gets up comes across the street and asks the marine guard "May I have a meeting with President Hillary Clinton?"
The Marine steps out and replies "Sir, Mrs. Hillary Clinton does not reside here nor is she the president."
The old man says "o.k." and leaves the area.
The next day it's the same scene. The old man comes up to the Marine and says

I was discussing certain moments in my past with someone who was there. I brought up something we did that was a lot of fun. Turned out, she had a lot of fun, but felt guilty afterwards. Like she was cheating on her ex g/f.
After some more discussion. It came down to this, and we both agree.
Nothing to do with sex, or sexuality, should ever have guilt attached, or guilty connotations.

I am passing this on to you because it definitely works, and we could all use a little more tranquility in our lives.

So, I looked around my house to see all the things I started and hadn't finished,
and before leaving the house this morning, I finished off a bottle of Merlot, a bottle of White Zinfandel, a bottle of Amaretto, a bottle of Popov, a package of Oreos, the remainder of my old Prozac prescription, the rest of the cheesecake, some Doritos, and a box of chocolates.
You have no idea how good I feel right now !

I DO HAVE TO PASS A URINE TEST FOR MY JOB..BUT I AGREE 100%
Like a lot of folks in this state, I have a job. I work, they pay me.
I pay my taxes and the government distributes my taxes as it sees fit.
In order to get that paycheck, I am required to pass a random urine
test with which I have no problem. What I Do have a problem with is
the distribution of my taxes to people who Don't have to pass a urine
test. Shouldn't one have to pass a urine test to get a welfare check
because I have to pass one to earn it for them?
Please understand, I have no problem with helping people get back on
their feet. I Do, on the other hand, have a problem with helping
someone sitting on their butt, doing drugs, whil e I work. . Can you
imagine how much money the state would save if people had to pass a
urine test to get a public assistance check ?
Pass this along if you agree or simply delete if you don't. Hope you
all will pass it along, though . Something has to change in this
country -- and soon!
