Hopes vs expectations

Whenever I find a new friend here it gets exciting. Gradually growing familiar with each other. The prospects of meeting. The planning and anticipation. Actual coffee or a drink. And in a few cases another date for more. As I've been on the site for ages, I've developed the<b> philosophy </font></b>of having hopes not expectations. I hope we hit it off. I hope we continue to flirt. I hope we hook up. As long as I don't expect those things, I can enjoy the journal, wherever it leads.
