Brand spankin' new

The phrase brand spanking new comes of course from the tradition of doctor's wailing on baby's bottoms after delivering them but did you know that that tradition itself serves a very practical purpose ? You see if the doctor smacks the baby and it tries it's head off they mark it down as "normal" on their chart and that's that , but if the baby is into it they indicate that this person may grow up to be a sexual deviant which triggers various law enforcement agencies to target them for surveillance for the remainder of their lives to check for signs of deviance . Because as we well know cabals of sexual deviants are constantly threating the safety and security of the United States . And also Panama but honestly it's harder to get worked up about that .

I have an app that I enter various health information into , what I eat , how many steps I take , etc as I'm sure many people do these days (the aliens thank us for participation in their experiments) and one of the things you enter is how much sleep you got . Found out today it only goes up to 10 hours . I tried to put in 11 and it wouldn't allow it because SURELY no adult human would sleep that long . Funny thing is today I feel like I need a nap .

Clearly taking SECOND place in a flag contest really takes it out of you .

If I've learned anything in my life (and there's no reason to think that I have) it's that if you wait for exactly what you want you're going to end up with nothing . And that's okay . Some people would rather than nothing than not get exactly what they want . Some people are okay with getting 80% of what they want .

Remember the Nestea Plunge ? I do . I remember the lady from that commercial being a lot better looking though . Maybe I just found the wrong commercial online . Anyway , apparently we're supposed to boycott Nestea because they do animal testing . And you may be thinking "Forcing animals to drink ice tea is mean but it's not really that bad" which is true , but what they do is inject the animals with the chemicals they use to make their "tea" to make sure they only die a little bit . Since I don't drink tea I've been boycotting them for 40 years (almost) so I feel like I need to do something else to show my support . Like kicking the Nesquik Bunny in the dick and then shouting "animal rights" !. Because it's not a real bunny , there's a dude in that costume .

In conclusion the CEO of Nestle once said that "access to water should not be a public right" and successful pressured the World Water Council to reduce access to drinking water from a "right" to a "need" . They've also been accused of using labor and engaging slavery .

Today for the first time ever I heard someone explain a reason why libertarianism might be a good idea - but then I thought about Nestle and I remembered why it would be the worst .

"But 40 , corporations are already doing this bad stuff now ."

Well aren't you just a ray of sunshine ?

Nestle has been bad news for a long time. I remember when I was in college (practically the Stone Age) people were boycotting Nestle because they were marketing infant formula in third world countries - more expensive and less healthy for the babies than breast milk, but hey if it contributed to their bottom line...

And this boycott didn't drive them out of business ? Clearly this is the fault of people of your generation . Thanks for ruining the world !
