Sunrise Beach , FL I was going to post a "funny" anti-vampire rant to poke subtle fun at an anti-immigrant blog post I just read but I'm not going to because it would probably be denied as actual hate speech , it probably wouldn't be that funny , and the irony would be lost on everyone anyway . Damn vampires . There is a TON of gay vampire themed porn , way more than straight vampire themed porn . I wonder what that's about - I thought it was the ladyfolk who were all about vampires . If you liked something , Pride and Prejudice , Hungry-Hungry Hippos , Miniature baseball helmets , what have you , and this thing was being made into a TV show and the TV show wasn't going to be good would you prefer for it to be mediocre or horrible ? I ask because Powers , a "TV" show on the PlayStation network (WTF ? ) based on the greatest comic book of all time has the first episode available on the tube and I checked it out and it was very average - and I think I would prefer if instead it flat out sucked a dick . I'm not sure why I feel that way exactly . Its like when you're dating someone and you're not really that into them but you don't hate them so you just kind of skate along with it for months or years at time and then when its finally over you think "man what a waste of time" . Its like that . I guess I would rather the show just sucked so I could forget about it and move on . A dude at work was telling a story about an owl shitting on him . I give him credit because he didn't make the mistake a lot of attention-whores make when they lie which is that they make their lies cast themselves in a positive light . If some dudes says "I banged Michelle Pfeiffer last night" that's clearly a lie , but if you say an owl shit on you people are more likely to believe it because why would someone make up a story like that ? Because they want attention that's why . So I says "You're a liar Steve , owls don't shit , they hack up whatever they can't digest like a hairball ." I went on to say that's why owls are so trendy right now , people like the idea of an animal that doesn't shit . And he was completely flummoxed . But the punchline is that I was also lying , owls do hack up pellets of bone and such , but they also shit like everything else . Why did I tell this story ? I don't know . Probably because like all my stories I am secretly trying to say "Look , look , I'm so smart , I made this other person look dumb !" Why am I like this wise owl ?  I asked a teacher once when I was a why people thought owls were wise and she said "Shut up 40" and I said "why did you call me 40 ?" She didn't explain , but decades later when I joined a sex site I used that as my screenname because I didn't want to use the name I usually use in case anyone I knew was around . Also when I was a I loved the movie Clue . As an adult I know its not the cinematic masterpiece I once thought , but it does have one of the best final lines of any movie ever "And now I'm going home to have sex with my wife !" The best final line is of course from What's Up Tiger Lily "I hope he brought the dildos !" I'll take that over "Forget it , Jake ; it's Chinatown" any day . Is there any circumstance other than being at a live sporting event where you would high five a stranger ?  A lady at work today asked me out of nowhere if I was mad at her (as women seem to do randomly) and I said "No , should I be , did you kill David Bowie ?" and she said "Would you be mad at me if I did ?" and I realized that I wouldn't care . What does that say about me ? If she killed a normal person I would rat her out in a hot Texas minute , but if she killed David Bowie I would shrug and go back to work . Why is that ? I don't hate David Bowie , I have nothing against him . Its probably because celebrities don't seem like real people . It would be like someone saying they killed Mickey Mouse you know ? And finally , someone said something about Kenny Chesney today and I wondered if he would be as successful if he went by Kenneth . Somehow I doubt it . A country singer called Kenneth ? I don't see it happening . Putting first by putting employees first, immediately after prioritizing fiscal responsibilities and leveraging profitability towards exceeding by empowering our employees to put (and themselves) first, in a diverse and respectful environment of only those that come first, first. |

"Why am I like this wise owl ?" Because sometimes you shit and sometimes you hack up some really interesting stuff. Fun owl fact - owls can turn their heads 270 degrees but can't swivel their eyeballs. Opportunity may knock only once, but temptation bangs on the door forever!

Good question...and even the perfect example, Pride and Prejudice. I pretty much feel required to watch ANY P&P knockoff...so if it's a given that I'm going to stick with it until the bitter end, I guess mediocre is better than completely dreadful. I thought the PD James Pride and Prejudice knockoff was mediocre, and yet I suffered through the entire book AND the PBS television show of it. Killing David Bowie is one of those scenarios that is so hypothetical that your reaction to it wasn't necessarily accurate. (there we go being hypothetical again)

I have always liked the jiggle factor in Clue. I was in the army when it came out and the post theater only showed one ending. I was very happy to see the other endings when it came out on video. Eileen Brennan always makes me think of the porn actress Colleen Brennan. She has wonderfully shaped breasts. She makes some very hot faces when her nipples are played with. It's like tuning in a porn channel. Crosswords increase your vocabulary. Cross words increase your blood pressure.
