How dare you not comment upon it ? Don't you know everything I do is for attention ? I didn't have a father growing up , I never learned how to fight or drink the right way . My dad left when I was three , told my mom he couldn't take it - "it" meaning me . And then one day my mom drops me off at summer camp and she says "See you later ! Forever !" and then she just drives off . And ever since then man , I've just been depressed - that's why I steal . I stole this , I mean look at this , what I am going to do with this ? I just really , you know , I , I mean I don't know where my mom went . No one really wants to be around me . And that's why I cry .

The point is if you thought there wasn't a book about four women who gain menopausal superpowers and form a super team you were wrong - dead wrong . And I know you're asking "By that to you mean powers trigged by menopause or menopause themed powers ?" and the answer is both mother fuckers .

Heroes gaining their powers as teenagers is a common trope , puberty and coming of age and all that (people like to talk about Spider-Man shooting his web goo all over the city) but I like this menopause idea much better . You can't trust teenagers to make good decisions even without superpowers , and even if you could their lives are pretty much ruined - like stars or sports prodigies , its too much pressure and they end up going crazy and getting hooked on the moonajuana . But a climacteric woman has lived a life , she knows the score , she's got experience - she can better handle laser beam eyes or whatnot - and I have to believe is more likely to use their powers for good . I mean if you were a with super strength would have done anything good ? Doubtful , you would have gone off the rails immediately most probably , I know I would have - I would have made them all pay . They know who they are .

Plus teenagers have enough issues , a woman in her fifties might be looking for something new - and saving the world might just shake off the "blahs" . Nothing busts you out of a rut like waking up and being able to fly and shoot mind bullets . Or so I would imagine .

Who wouldn't ? You know superheroes fighting the evil foreign villain of the day used to be a staple , they never do that anymore - I guess they don't want to alienate any potential comic buyers that harbor anti-American sentiments

The hot and cold flashes would overpower any sleestack with a sharknado fantasy.

Crosswords increase your vocabulary. Cross words increase your blood pressure.
