Earth Day!!!

Happy Earth Day!!!! for a bit more info: read Protonicman's [post 318663]. (ok: i'm lazy lol... he already wrote it. Saving myself the time).

If i get bored with Japan Week stuff... there is a big Earth Day event downtown too, with world music, and who knows what else. Why do all the fun things have to happen on the same day/same time? Happens to me every time.

Went Salsa dancing soooooo much fun. I'm on a "just got done dancing" high now. bouncing off the walls. happy and giddy. Got flirted with by a sexy latino guy well... i think he's just a natural flirt, and he taught me to dance while waiting for his g/f to arrive bcuz she was running late. But it was fun. Once you're dancing... the rest of the world kinda disappears. At one point I realized we were the only people on the floor... but I only had a moment for the realization to cross my mind. Wasn't time for self-conscious nervousness to set in lol. I was busy. (Thankfully ppl came back on the dance floor a few moments later too).
So here is added motivation to get myself a "Real" job though the latino guy said i'm lucky to have a job. I still want better though.

OK... gonna go burn off some of this excess energy so I can sleep. Idiot that I am told a friend I'd pick him up at 8am tomorrow. It's 1am now.

 Funny that you say "Once you're dancin...the rest of the world kinda disappears" that is actually a line in a new movie out called "Take the Lead" decent movie but, I LOVED the music in it. Anyway, I'm glad you had fun.

 DSK, I'm glad you had a good time!

I haven't been out dancing in a long time. I always had fun, though, once I let go of the initial inhibitions.
