New here....but not really....any advice

A brief look at my profile will reveal that I'm practically a founding member! My activity on this site has always waxed and waned. Part of this is because I've only ever sought one FB. Life's complicated and when you find what you're looking for why spoil it. Or at least that's my<b> philosophy.

</font></b>So for about the past eight years or so I've flitted in and out, not really looking just curious. Prior to that I was active and involved. Met many people and some of those were long term. Over the last few years I've had a regular FB so not needed to really explore.

Here I am today looking at the scene to find a whole new world!

Things I could once do in limited fashion (view profiles, send a mail, hey...even view some emails) it appears are now gone for anyone but paid up members.

Fake profiles were never a problem, these days, it seems it's all I see.

So, having skirted round the edges, it seems to me the only free interaction really is via blogs or chat rooms. The alternative is paid membership, which I've had in the past but the anonymity seems to have gone onthat too.......I adult particularly want anything with "adult" appearing on any statements thanks very much.....never an easy explanation to your accountant or if they happen to see your statement.

So the question is.....advice to a newbutoldbie ....do you have success...and if so what tips would you give?
