Fate

Do you believe in fate? I do now. Life has dealt me turmoil over the last few years. I lost and never thought I would find that kind of love again. I dated, lived with others and the usual playing around. I had no emotions or feelings other than friendly love. Until recently, I have discovered that I can love again and there are people in this world that can love you unconditionally. I never found myself beautiful or sexy and if I heard those words I figured it to be charm or kindness to either be friendly or to get into my pants. I have recently discovered that someone out in this world really loves me for me. One who loves me unconditionally and adores me for the person I am. They see beyond my flaws and to them I am truly a beautiful person. Still hard to fathom but I know that they mean it when they say it. Do you know what it feels like, to leave their presence and just feel so sad and blue, like as if you had just lost your best friend but it was really just your heart aching and yearning to be in their arms one moment longer. To miss them so much that it is all you can think about is when is the next time we are going to be together again. Afraid that you have already lost so much time with this person because you did not take the time to get to know them sooner. To miss the cuddles, the kisses, the tender touches and the strong arms that hold you and keep you safe always. Always take time in your busy life to let the one's close to you know that you love them and appreciate them. Let them know what they mean to you and open your heart wide and show them the love they deserve. Life is worth living and giving it all you got because the next day may be to late. Give your heart and soul to all in which you believe and care and let fate take care of the rest. To all my friends that I hold dear, I want each and everyone of you to know that I love you and think that you are all special to me.

Eleven years ago, I had to say goodbye to my best friend and the love of my life. The first man to teach me what it really meant to be in love, one who adored me and cherished me with his whole being. I never thought I would find that kind of love again, so unconditionally and true until now. I Love you!
