New job...

New job... I'm starting a new job this week. In a new place, where I don't really know many people. It's not my dream job but it is within an organization that I believe I can spend a very long time. There is virtually unlimited opportunity for someone willing to perform. There are hundreds of jobs within the organization that I can be promoted or transfered to if I perform at the level I know I am capable of. Actually, if I perform at a fraction of my peak I will be a better employee than a large percentage of my counterparts. I feel like this is a good place. I believe I'll be doing good value work with plenty of opportunity. Transfering to a different location in a year or two doesn't seem to be a problem. Ready to get started. I think I will blog about the daily discoveries. Both good and bad. The job I've been doing for the last six months pretty much sucked... but... it was a job and I was thankful to have it. It was always a means to getting this job. As painful as the wait was... I think it's looking up from here. Not that it was terrible... but it wasn't utilizing my skills and ability. So... bring on Tuesday... Do me a favor...go look at one of my other posts and make a comment... please... |
