 Hmm honestly I'd have prob done the same thing, copied it to another tape and gave that one back. Although makes me wonder if the parents ever wondered what happened to the tape, if they ever noticed it was missing.
I sent an Angel to watch over you last night, it returned in a hurry. I asked why, it said "Angels can't watch porn." Thanks for fucking traumatizing my fucking Angel!

Don't bother trying to figure me out. Not even the little voices in my head understand me. It's pointless!

I don't think letting them know would have been seen by the parents as you telling them how to maintain their collection. They would have probably been mortified to find out their kids had such easy access to their home videos, and no doubt grateful, despite any embarrassment.

How to tell them is, of course, another thing. I don't know if you had email addresses to contact the parents, if so, I'd have went that route. Less embarrassment and you're able to lie to them and tell them you didn't watch it after you realised what it was, haha, and you hope it doesn't affect them coming to games, etc.

You did what you thought was best at the time. And at the end of the day, that's all any of us can do
